Gosh this is such a nice one. I’m trying too be strong, but this is gonna be a hard one to see leave the studio.
The baby of the melted dice lamp, but this one was so transformed by the fire, it doesn’t even seem related. Cobalt melts over the top and pools in a glass horseshoe shape around a wad marking. Clouds of grey blue crystals form around the narrow edge of this flattened oval and also add the most interesting matte texture to the cobalt side. This is one of the lucky ones.
